Ontdek Troublesome Creek: A Midwestern Filmprogramma's in Steden door heel Nederland

Filminformatie

The Jordan family faces the possibility of losing the Iowa farm that has shaped generations of their lives. Filmmaker Jeanne Jordan returns with Steven Ascher to follow her parents and siblings as debts, ageing and uncertain prospects force difficult decisions. Family stories and dry humour accompany practical arguments about what can be saved and what must change. The documentary connects one household’s struggle with the pressures reshaping small-scale farming, without losing sight of the people who have made this land their home.
