Filminformatie

Robert Richter examines the U.S. Army’s School of the Americas and the campaign to close it over abuses linked to some of its graduates. Narrated by Susan Sarandon, the documentary combines training footage with testimony from human-rights advocates, legislators and a survivor of violence in El Salvador. It connects military instruction in the United States with events in Latin America, asking how responsibility should be assigned when trained officers return home and turn against civilians.
