Ontdek Madagascar, a Journey Diary Filmprogramma's in Steden door heel Nederland

Filminformatie

A traveller’s sketchbook opens onto the roads, landscapes and daily encounters of Madagascar. Drawings, collage and changing animation techniques turn the pages into moving impressions of the journey, which leads to a Famadihana ceremony honouring the dead. Bastien Dubois builds the film around the visitor’s changing point of view, moving from observations made in passing toward the experience of being welcomed into a community gathering.
