Ontdek Jim Dine: A Self-Portrait on the Walls Filmprogramma's in Steden door heel Nederland

Filminformatie

Invited to exhibit in Ludwigsburg, Germany, Jim Dine turns the gallery itself into his working surface, drawing monumental images directly onto its walls. The documentary follows the physical work of making and revising the charcoal drawings while the artist reflects on his methods. The finished exhibition will last only a few weeks before being painted over. Watching the images emerge and disappear, the film records an artistic process whose temporary results can survive only through memory and the camera.
