Six political prisoners sharing a cell build a fragile bond through the small desires and private hopes that imprisonment has not erased. When a cigarette is stolen from a guard, an apparently minor act briefly renews their sense of defiance but exposes them to greater danger. Navin Thapar’s drama follows the group’s effort to preserve dignity and solidarity in a place structured around fear, where an ordinary comfort can become both a lifeline and a source of conflict.
